John B. Sanders:
"From the first day Brian came to my place and walked under my overgrown cedar, he saw possibilities and challenges. What had been a screen from neighbors became a wonderful shade garden with sweeping branches that touched the ground then swept up to hold bird houses. He filled underneath with plants that were local like triliums, helleborus and native cherries. He brought in yards of great soil so that everything flourished. He pruned carefully to maintain the integrity of the tree and allowed more rain to come in. He worked harder than anyone I have ever seen to put in an irrigation system that keeps everything green during the summer. He got us into vegetable gardening and now we glory in wonderful salads during the growing season. The one thing that Brian brings that no other landscaper can match in addition to his expertise is his passion. Watch him as he weeds a bed and you will see his love for all that grows. Each bulb he finds is tenderly set aside to be placed somewhere it will prosper. Brian is hard working and stays late till the job is done. In addition, he does yoga and will teach you proper body mechanics as you work along side of him. A day with Brian in the garden is a day of reestablishing your place in the natural world."

Laura Ormsby:
Brian has done several projects for me over the years and I am very happy with the results. He designed and built a beautiful paver patio and installed a drip and soaker hose system for my yard and potted plants.
Brian has a good eye for design and a broad knowledge of plants and soil. He is a very hard worker and does a great job helping me maintain a beautiful landscape.

Kerry Klockner:
"I highly recommend Brian as a landscape expert for your environment. I have a very difficult environment to manage. I have pets, and a goodly amount of space on the north side of the house with lots of shade, clay soil and a short steep slope. My frustration in getting things to grow and thrive in this environment has been very high. It seems I try a project and the critters kill it, there is too much water, or the plantings fail. Brian came to give me some advice on the situation. I must say it is very rewarding to see a landscaper's eyes light up when they see a challenge. He immediately had several suggestions and a wide range of options. He was sensitive to my budget—both in terms of my ongoing time for maintenance and my immediate investment. After agreeing upon a plan, Brian began working in earnest. He accomplished in a single session more than what I have seen from several landscapers all working together for twice the time. Now my space looks attractive and is maintainable. The environment benefits from Washington's natural environment and I will not be having to go to extraordinary lengths to keep the plants thriving or protected. Thank you Brian!"
